Been takin' a break
So, I've kind of been taking a break from the Internet this week. I was getting hooked and it was not helping my stress levels.
I did read about Norway's tragedy in the newspaper this morning. My heart goes out to all those affected.
I also heard about Amy Winehouse. My best thoughts to her family and friends as well.
Mom and I went through my pile of stuff for Uni and decided what we'd pack and what she'd ship to me. I'm starting to freak out a little more now. I'm calm on the outside, but there's a little voice in my head that just screams all the time. I'd be much less freaked if I just knew who my roommate was. I won't find out until about a week before I move in because my other roommate (who decided to live off campus) won't be able to turn her credits in until then.
Been watching Rescue Me on the Netflix all week. Me gusta. First American show I've actually enjoyed in a long time. It may be giving me some sort of firefighter/Denis Leary/the-gap-in-Denis-Leary's-teeth kink. I am ashamed. *hangs head*
Gave blood today!
Also, I have a mysterious face rash. Contact dermatitis. I think I didn't get all the hair product off my hands when I put face lotion on. My left cheek has be blotchy and kind of hot and itchy all day. Not fun. It'll probably be gone by tomorrow. I hope...
