Yay! First post. And actually my first post to a kink meme ever so bear with me.
So I was thinking about all the buzz and media that must surround Jim and the crew. Could someone write a fic about this? The ups and downs to the media and stories they tell and uncover? How does the crew deal with this? Do they find it funny or do they protect one another in interviews? Are there paparazzi on shore leave? I'm guessing there would be a lot the media would focus on from Jim's im's delinquency, Tarsus, and then the patchwork of interesting things about the rest of crew. Do they have PR reps and are there fan bases? Talk show spots? Interviews? I'd like Bones/Jim but Spock/Jim can work to.
Commentfic, because I am bored at work. I hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for! Part 1 of what will be several - eventual Kirk/Spock
Emotionally compromised.
Jim has grown to hate the phrase. There's an air of scandal to it, an indecent emphasis that only grows heavier every time it falls off another reporter's overglossed lips. They love it, love the chance to drag one of those oh-so aloof, oh-so superior Vulcans down to a more human level
( ... )
In which the crew somehow manages to voluntarily go to/get stuck in/encounter the Grid(from TRON,yo!) Approach this however you'd like, as long as something happens in or related to the computer world. As for pairings, I'd prefer K/S, but it's really nonessential. Have at it, lovelies!
Kirk/Spock (TOS). First time. Kirk goes into it treating Spock like a virgin (going slowly with everything, constantly asking if he's doing anything that's making Spock uncomfortable or if hes hurting him, explaining things to him). Spock eventually has enough and says, to borrow a phrase he may have heard Doctor McCoy use, that it "isn't (his) first time at the rodeo". Kirk is embarrassed by his mistaken thinking, apologizes, and things get intense and they do it they have sex without all the awkward talking.
Filled! So this is my first time writing a fic... and, incidentally, also my first time writing smut. Hopefully it's what you were looking for and isn't horrible! :S Enjoy!
THIS FICLET CONTAINS SOMEWHAT GRAPHIC DETAIL OF CREWMEN DYING FROM HORRIBLE EXPLOSION WOUNDS.
Filler's notes: Saw this prompt, couldn't resist.
They died. They died and it was his fault. He felt like it was his fault, Spock had been quick to correct him.
"You are merely experiencing guilt, Doctor. You did everything in your power to save them, but there was nothing that could have saved them. They were dead the moment the explosion hit." Spock held McCoy closer to him, rubbing the Doctor's sides with gentleness he never thought he'd get used to.
Ensign Thompson and Petty Officer Kent had been rushed into the MedBay by panicking security officers. Panic that was partially influenced by the red alert siren blasting through the halls, but, Bones imagined, mostly from the severe burns covering their bodies. The stench of burning flesh. The... the missing bits of flesh and limbs. Thompson almost seemed to be smiling. A twisted, sadistic kind of grin where the flesh was peeled away and twisted, exposing the jaw beneath

Poor guy. He might feel alone but he certainly isn't; he's loved and cared for. Nice job with this! :)
