Lent 2010: No gaming = Massively Effective

Feb 16, 2010 11:28

Last year, I made a post about giving up video games for Lent. I thought it was successful, but I could do more. This year I am going to do it again, but harder.

My rules:

- Absolutely no video games. No arcade games, Live games, no retail disk games.
- Xbox used only as DVD player, networking disabled. No Netflix streaming, put account into suspension. (Which means I need to send back the current DVD I have out in 7 days if I cancel.)
- No pre-orders or new games will be purchased.
- No gaming news sites will be read.

Recently it's gotten crazy with massive games like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age. True time suckers to be sure. I have other things I need to focus more on.

So yep, tomorrow until April 4th.

More blogging ahoy!
