Basically, Best Buy is getting rid of most of their anime stock at stores that do not perform well with anime dvd sales. THIS MEANS HUGE SAVING FOR YOU.

Brief rundown:
50% off on all Anime DVDs from 3/1/09-3/21/09
- Available only at participating stores not online (see link above)
- Excludes Blu-ray titles
- Some titles won't ring up correctly and may need an override from the manager. (This happened to me which I'll detail below.)
What I got:
- Both special edition director's cut Afro Samurai movies (this rang up at the normal price which required me to have the manager input the discount code manually.... he couldn't believe the deal I was getting ($12.49 each instead of 24.99), but had to honor the deal anyway since it is anime and was in the anime aisle full of 50% off placards
- Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence movie special edition
- Witchblade: The Complete Anime Series
- Gurren Lagann part 1 limited editon w/box
