From the Gentlemen Known as Judas Priest.
Man, these past couple of days have actually been fan-freaking-tastic. I know we've had TAKS and everything, but life is pretty good.
I am twenty dollars closer to a tuxedo. If anyone would like their lawn mowed for twenty dollars, let me know ASAP. I weed-eat too, but that's an extra five. I sweep for free…which I forgot to do at Morgan's house today…which is why it's free! =)
I have decided to enter two contests. One of them is the chili cook-off, so prepare to have your socks not just knocked off, but disintegrated by the sheer agony of my chili. I call it "Lifelines." The other is a UIL fiction writing contest. It's a short story, only 2000 words in length and the theme must focus on "Between the Tiger's Claws" (i.e. some kind of intense conflict in which the main character is trapped between pressing situations). I need a story idea. Anyone?
This Sunday will be a preview of what my family will be like for the next several decades. It is a combination birthday gathering for my grandparents, Celia, and Amy (uncle's fiancee, not my friend from school) all of whom happen to have birthdays within days of each other. So, I will be there, Dad, Celia, and Sanaya will be there, my grandparents will be there, Uncle Brad, (soon to be) Aunt Amy, Ian and Laura (Amy's kids, six and eight, may have gotten their names wrong) will be there. It used to be me, Dad, Mom, grandparents, and Uncle Brad. My God, my family has changed.
I'm just happy.
