"And you thought it would take centuries to learn."

Hey, let me know what you think of my slightly tweaked journal.

I was late to the pep rally on Friday. It was hilarious, as I was coming up the stairs through the athletic hall and into the gym by myself. All of the football players were waiting in the hall and they all were like, "Oh, bass drum! OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!" They parted, but not wide enough and I hit the door going in. The whole hallway went, "WWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAA!!!!" It was amusing.
My dad thinks the Drumline is the rock band of the school.
Saturday, I was also late to inspection, which was annoying. Thanks to Michael and Natalie and whomever else assisted in the packing/loading of my drum, I sufferred no ill results. I had breakfast on the bus, which was a Sonic cheeseburger, and we watched a couple of episodes of Speed Racer. Those things are absolutely horrible. They're so horrible, they're hilarious. We stopped to eat and I wound up eating at Pizza Hut with Justin Rice and Lee Ann (new percussionist, that's the proper way to spell her name). I met up with Alanna and she wasn't feeling well. Major bummer.
We got to the field, and it was on! The game rocked so much! Gregory-Portland scored within three minutes, but that only added to the suspense. The Drumline hardly stopped playing, and I felt like I was part of the cheerleaders. It was highly groovy, however. We watched The Man Who Knew Too Little on the way back, and that is a hilarious movie as well.
Today, someone called my cell at five forty-five in the morning, and then Kim Lacy called at noon to see if I was coming over to work on the English project or not. I wasn't, because Dad didn't want to drive me all the way into town two days in a row.
Celia took my Christmas shopping for Dad, and I got him Braveheart on widescreen DVD. I intend to get him more. I saw perfect gifts for Amy and Phaedra while I was there, but wound up not getting them. Oh well. At least now I know.
Time to sleep.
