Weekend Recap
To start off I put the needle of my sewing machine through my finger making a baby quilt and broke it ( the needle, not my finger ). I'm so thankfull for Neosporin + and tetnaus (sp?) shots. And Walmart I guess since now I need new needles.
Went to a Scrapbook activity on Saturday night from 6-12 ( yes 6-12 ) at Recollections, a store in the area. They let you use all of their equipment for 6 hours, plus pizza and dessert. And my first thought was I would have to take Anita's wallet away from her before we ever went inside. And then I realized I needed someone to take MY wallet since I spent $50 on paper alone!! Other than that it was pretty okay, although EVERYONE else is head+shoulders above me, and I have so little in common with these ladies. They're as sweet as can be but it seems like they have their own little group of friends, and Im not a part of it and thats that. Oh well.
Poor Monique, as I was leaving the Scrapbook activity, I stopped at what I thought was a red light to pick up my cell phone because Chris was calling, and when I looked up, it was green, so it looked like I was driving crazy ( again). So she called because shes wonderfully sweet to make sure I was okay while I was on the phone with Chris. So of course I didnt see the incoming call because my phone is posessed, so she got worried left a message on my phone and called Chris, who was on the phone with me, and left a message for him too! SO! When I got off the phone I got her message and called her back. Meanwhile, Chris got her message and called me while I was on the phone with Monique and got my voicemail! Phone tag anyone?
Chris had inventory on Saturday and DID NOT get home until 7am on Sunday morning, poor guy!
On a side note- He had applied for a position with the Church here, that they filled internally. Then Saturday the hiring manager for the area called him and is coming to interview him for the same position but located in Scranton, PA. I had to go find it on a map! Im not at all sure I want to move to the middle of nowhere. Im sure its lovely, being in the mountains, but...it really seems to be nowhere.
Ooooh hey pretty, a rose? Where'd that come from!
