Alyssa was furious. Why was it that the test pilots seemed to want to make her life miserable? Even with the newer craft that the Army Air Force and the Navy were developing from the technology discovered after the War, it didn't give them the right to test fly it right over San Francisco Bay! Reaching up a hand the woman wearing the sleek uniform of a chocolate hip-tunic and 'pink' skirt of a WAC with her garrison cap just slanted enough to the left, rubbed at her brow. If she could convince the Major, the boys were going to be grounded for a week if not a month just for a proper cover up to be put in place!
Pushing into the office without even knocking, the Lieutenant stared at the photographs in her hand. "Major Reynolds. You and I need to have a talk- Pike, Hughes, and Kennedy did it again and this time it was.. not.." When her feet hit metal flooring instead of the wood that was supposed to be there she looked up and blinked. "Ah.. Major? Anyone?"
So much for getting off of work early.
