[Now that the Holodeck Camp trip with Jim and Spock is over and the Sickbay is free of the many Tribbles cooing at him, McCoy is back to working on the biological tags for any new arrivals. His brow is furrowed with concentration, thanks to the mind-meld with Spock, and he has not noticed anything strange... yet, anyway.]

[MIRROR'D KIRK]

[The doors to Sickbay open as Kirk walks in. Wearing just the black undershirt and black pants and boots... though he is glancing around a lot. Though the fading bruises do indicate that it is the Kirk from .50]

Bones!

[hippocraticly]

[McCoy glances over at the Jim strutting into the sickbay and takes note of the bruising on his face. Although he is wondering in the back of his mind why he uttered his nickname so... well, heatedly. Was he upset about that injection by the turbolift?]

What is it, Jim?

What the hell is going on? Who the hell changed the Starbase around when I was sleeping?

[He gestures out the window as well. The Ion Storm rages on.]

And what the hell have you been doing while this stupid storm is going on? Working?

[McCoy stares at him as he gesticulates wildly at the window. Those are lot more cuss words than usual.]

What else would I be doing? You're the one who told me to make one of these tags for Mr. Scott.

[He rolls his eyes as he looks back down and mutters.]

Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning.

It's 2300 hours, Bones. That's not morning.

[pauses]

"Tags"?

[hippocraticly]

Right, biological tags. You know, so we might be able to identify each other without having to wear damn name stickers?

[canyonsiniowa]

[Kirk stares blankly at him.]

I figured the scar you gave one of my counterparts was enough, Bones. That's a little nice of you.

[hippocraticly]

[McCoy looks up from his desk and stares at him. The Ion storm continues to rage on as Bones blinks and utters:]

... What?

[Kirk stands there with his eyebrows raised.]

[hippocraticly]

[McCoy does not care for raised eyebrows. Doctor hat is on.]

Go back to your quarters, Jim. This Ion Storm is obviously messing with your head.

Bones. Bones, Bones. Did you just give an order to your Captain?

[THREADJUMP. (can we do that here?)]

Marlena hears the voices from the corridor - is that the new Jim she met in there? She walks in to discover a medbay, and a new Bones, and... with those bruises, that can't be her newest Jim. Her third Jim. God this is getting confusing.

His demeanour, though. It's... familiar.

Gonna watch from the sidelines for a second here.

[He notices someone watching him. It was a normal thing, everyone watched him. He is Captain of the ISS Enterprise and many wanted him dead, after all. His head sharply turns to look over at the woman.]

If you're going to watch me, it might be better just to stick the dagger in my back before someone notices.

[God damn it why don't even the evil Kirks recognize her! Deep breath. Deep breath.]

Captain.

[With a small, knowing smile, she makes a soft strike against her chest before extending her hand, palm down.]
