[ Janeway had found the bar and had forgone a drink in favour of coffee; it'd help her think better for one and hopefully help her headache. Since meeting Captain Kirk and others, Janeway had tried to limit her interactions to as few people as possible as to not mess up anything left that could be messed up - if there was still any of that left.

[Pike came into the bar in search of his own coffee and spotted Janeway from the door. He'd been around enough people in her style uniform to recognize she was a Captain. He got his coffee and positioned himself not all that far from her]

[ Coffee in hand Janeway waited for any sign that someone would reply, keep an eye on anyone that walked into the bar in case of other familiar faces, or just someone in the know ]

[Pike raised his cup slightly toward the only other coffee drinker he'd seen on the Starbase]

Replicator coffee always lacks something...don't you think, Captain?

[ Janeway gave him a curious glance over the top of her own mug, taking a quick sip before replying ]

I've always found that it'll do in a pinch. It's hard to find the real stuff in space.

[nods again] Lots of them, alternate realities and times within the same reality. Lucky for me, all of the doctors seem to have a steady supply of aspirin.

As best I can figure out, everyone dressed like you is from a different reality than me.
