And I've got plenty if you're hungry. [offers her a slice of pizza on a plate, gesturing to the seat across from hers at the table]

Voyager? Cool, I've heard some about them. I was on the Enterprise before ending up here. [takes a bite and chews] Man, that's good. I didn't realize how hungry I was.

Where do you work in Voyager? Engineering? Medical?

Pretty much, yeah. But really, no amount of time at the Academy can really prepare you for being flung into the Delta Quadrant on your first assignment.
