"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

During most of my spring break I was sitting in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Atlanta at my 4th or 5th music therapy conference. I cannot remember which, but that's okay, I know that I have fun memories of each stored away in my noggin. But amid the events of the day, the many encounters and recounters, I happened to look over at a group of our little Music Therapy Freshmen- all huddled around the same conference guide, and suddenly a wave of nostalgia hit me. I began to remember what it felt like to not know what MT-BC meant, or CMTE. Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis!

As if I needed evidence that I married the right man...how to finish that sentence. Jeff and I were doing our bi-weekly grocery shopping. We went down the cereal isle, and as Jeff drove the cart ahead, I lingered behind to make absolutley sure that I wanted the bix box of Kellog's Rasin Bran. As I was about to put the box back on the shelf, I could see the words "star trek" in my peripheral vision. To make a long story short, Jeff and I bought 3 boxes of cereal just for the star trek toy inside. Talk about a throw-back to my childhood when star trek toys were as prolific as Bratz and Barbie.
