Someone told me that I would post more often if I had a paid LiveJournal Account...I doubt that. I spend so much time reading the lives of others that I rarely post about my own. I wasted an entire hour snooping through the angsty rants of my little sister's myspace page before starting my research abstracts which are due pretty soon. She's a very fluid writer and some of her quirky phrases like, " I could just murderize this person" or " this person was b*tchitized from birth," keep me laughing and distract me from the actual meaning behind her words.
My school course load is the lightest that it has ever been at 14 credit hours, but my extra things have increased by half. We are only supposed to do 45 hours of practicume and clinical hours for our Practicum class at 2 sites. I calculated that I will be at 106 hours of practicum and clinical hours without including the hours for the showgroup's performances and dress rehearsals. I could kick myself for doing that much. Also, being Vice president of the Music Therapy Society is more work thatn I thought this year because Megan and I added so many new and cool elements to the society. My residents are angels compared to the ones from last year, which proves to me that God wants me to keep my sanity. Nevertheless, I cannot wait until this semester if over sothat I can coast until my internship.
Jeff and I have been capitalizing on my free Saturdays by going up to Conyers to work on a new stargate for our fanclub, Stargate Atlanta. I enjoy the time that I spend with Jeff and these people because they are TOO much like me- WE SQUEAL WHEN SEASON PREMIERS COME ON TELEVISION! I hope that once I finish my internship that I end up somewhere close to Conyers so that I can continue to ride the waves of sci-fi!
