Reason for Stopping: End of Chapter.
Notes: The first chapter of Part II has been drafted! I'm getting my groove back, that's for sure. And as I continue, it'll be easier to plot these chapters. Once I get rolling on that, writing this next 10-chapter stretch should be much easier. Then I imagine I'll be dancing a similar step for Chapter 3 which, at this point, is nothing more than vast character trajectories that very urgently need to be broken down. lol. But the writing still feels strong here. Granted, this chapter does feel slow, more like an extension of Part I than its own beast and I imagine it's because it was mainly a setup chapter meant to bridge the gap between parts and explain what our heroes (and villains) were up to while we were away. I wonder how it'll play on the OWW once I post it.
Anyway, enough rambling. I'm off to read with a nice glass of that 2007 Chardonnay and that Daniel Silva novel. Not a bad way to ring out 2009.
