Did I miss the memo in which compassionate, well-reasoned arguments are now to be considered "angst?"

In other, less potentially annoying news, the song "All my friends" by Broken Social Scene (on the spring mix, actually) includes the line "your ex-lover is not dead," which like most of their lyrics makes little sense in context but may be referencing the song you mention. Curiouser and curiouser.
