The news and the world as I know it.

The placement has gone very well; the kids we work with (we help with coursework and test prep) are totally wild and most of the sessions end with them yelling at us and us yelling at them and trying to get them out the door (British law forbids us to bodily remove the little wankers). On the plus side, they're good craic most of the time. The agency, the Mornington Project, is total chaos. I've been assigned to clear the spyware from their computers, find them some good video editing software, organise their library, and a host of other weird odd jobs that nobody else who works there has time to so much as cast a glance at. So work is interesting.
Belfast has been great; tonight is the last night of the Belfast Film Festival and I've seen some interesting stuff, particularly Steamboy, which is the latest from the director of Akira and pure eye-candy the whole way through. It looks unbelieveably cool.
The people in my group are very pleasant, by and large. Socially speaking, things are going pretty well, considering all the circumstances.
I found a brilliant copy of Shelley in a charity shop. It had a cracked binding, leather covers, and gold-edged pages. It was sort of a Goth moment, and thus very appropriate. I bought it for £3.
Life here is quite nice on the whole. It'll be good to get home, but I wish I had another month or so.
I need to go finish a paper now. Good-bye.
