it's unfortunate that i got penalized for telling the truth. and had i lied, nothing would have happened.
so, another lesson learned: the truth ain't all it's cracked up to be.
(i don't think i really understand that expression, cracked up. eh.)

it's gray and breezy outside, and i'm guessing it's a little chilly. which contradicts the weather report. it seems like it's one of those mornings where i would wear gore-tex - just in case - and trek around outside anyway, peeling off and crumpling layers as the day went on. or it would get colder, and i'd pull out a hoodie and wrap myself in comfort. and of course, the best part of the day is that hot shower at the end, not because i need it, but because i never shook off the chill of the morning.
i guess i really miss it more than i thought. i'm happy to be going back.
