Oh, wow! WOW! This was just fabulous! I want to put other words in italics as well but I'm trying hard not to let this comment be full of flailing and squee even if that's exactly what I want to type.

Found this via 31_days and clicked on it because the idea of Zuko and Toph as friends is pretty interesting. You took that interesting and made it AWESOME and I think I might just love you for it.

Dialogue was spot on - I could hear the characters saying every line, and the description was light and wonderful. You've humanised Zuko as well - I struggle with liking him in the series but I really felt for him here, so well done. And Toph was so Toph...oh, everything was fabulous.

I'm off to read everything else you've ever written, but before I go, thank you so much for writing this fun piece, it made my night. :) Memming for great justice!

I really enjoyed this! I love Zuko and Toph being dorky friends, and I like how the tone shifts from joking to just-this-side-of-serious in the middle (which is where the lightbulb went on for me).

Found this through tomomichi. ^^ I haven't seen the third season of Avatar, but I thought this was awesome, and would work really well as an episode. I think your writing was very smooth and polished, and you crafted the whole thing beautifully. Everyone was in character, and the dialogue was witty and amusing - I especially liked Aang's little perky quips, and Toph being unpleasant but impossible to hate. Excellent work. <3

Is it weird that I just fell in love with Aang all over again after reading this? I mean, he wasn't even a main character in this and he still had me cracking up with his 'helpfulness'! Your grumpy!Zuko was hilariously accurate too!
