yea for getting drunk!
so last night was kasey's going away party and it kicked ass. i think kasey had a great time as well. it was funny though because she made this shirt that said "i'm going home so kiss me" and you could only sign it if you gave her a kiss. it was good stuff. we played some drinking games and then got around to dancing. good times were had by all. the only thing that would've made it better was if eric could stay up and drink as much as the rest of us did. but he had to go to work this morning. which sucks, but that's life. i ended up going to bed at like 3:30, which was really early being that i think most of the people at the party went to bed at like 5:00 but i also had to get up this morning and get certified for cpr for coaching and stuff. the ymca is now requiring that all their staff be cpr certified...which is understandable, but it sucked having to get up. being that i know i drank way too much and my stomach was hurting really bad...all i wanted to do was keep sleeping. and the thing was supposed to last 5 hours, but thank god it only took two. and for the amount of alcohol that i consumed i'm surprised i didn't get sick. i drank like 7 or 8 beers and 4 normally gets me good and drunk. i made sure to drink some water and eat a slice of bread before going to bed last night so that probably helped a bit. so anyways. it was good fun.
before the party, eric and i went and saw "along came polly". it was really funny. what made it even better was that in the middle of the movie eric leaned over to me and said "man, jennifer aniston is HOT!" yeah...that made me feel good. and yes, i know that she's very good looking and attractive, but that's just not the comment that i wanted to hear in the middle of the movie. but that's alright. i always tell eric that guys are hot in the mmiddle of a movie...or i'll say someone's attractive. anyways. last night we also had waffle house for dinner which we haven't had in forever because we've been trying to eat in instead of eating fast food all the time. and i'm sorry to say that it actually sucked. they didn't get my order right and i didn't even want to bother sending it back because i was already hungry as it was. so i just ate it and it wasn't very good. oh well.
speaking of which, the diet thing still seems to be going really well. i don't think i'm really losing weight anymore though. i think i keep building muscle which is good, but it weighs more than fat, so i'm naturally gonna weigh more. which is alright. just as long as i'm toning up my body. i hate be flabby. i want to be able to walk around my apartment with a sports bra on and not care who sees me. anyways, i'm not going into that again. but i know that i'm toning up because eric felt my arms the other day and he said that he can already tell that i'm getting stronger. he says my arms are harder! :) yea! and i'm really proud of eric...he's doing really well with eating better. but yeah. good stuff. hopefully we can keep each other motivated and get through this.
so i think it's final that eric and i are going to washington dc for spring break. and hopefully abby will let us use the jeep because eric's truck will be kinda smushy. and if it rains it'll suck because then we'd have to put all our luggage in the cab with us...and eric's truck is already as small as they come. so hopefully abby finds somebody to go to florida with her and offer to drive or she just doesn't go anywhere for spring break and that would leave us the jeep as well. or we could just pray for beautiful weather and then we'd be able to take the truck. but anyways. either way, i do believe we're going to dc. which will be really fun. i'm excited about finally being able to meet his real mom and i've never been to dc and eric keeps telling me that it's an amazing place. and i love history, so it should be a lot of fun. i know it'll be a lot of fun because eric's going with me and there's no one on this earth that i have more fun with. anyways.
let's see. oh! haha! i went to the men's basketball game today with caitlin and jessica, and dr. waples, the athletic director for ksu, was showing us this thing about who's gotten honor awards in the past and he said that mine and jessica's name were on it for this year and last year. well, i didn't get anything last year, but this year i was named tournament defensive mvp for nationals. so i had my name up on this plaque with a bunch of other peoples' names and stuff just saying my name and what sport i play and what my achievement was. and then we turned around and was looking at the trophy case they have of all the sports and we were noticing that the soccer team has more trophes than cross country, basketball, and golf...and those sports have been around a lot longer than soccer has. we've only been here two years and we have more trophes. we just thought it was kinda funny. not to be bragging or anything. but we're the shit! hehe. just kidding.
i got my phone rebate in for $50, which is cool. i'm really trying to save money this semester because of spring break and stuff. but i really want to try to save for bigger things for when i graduate and stuff. like i want to be able to buy a car as soon as i graduate or something. but even more than a car, i want to be able to get my own place...actually a place with eric. he and i both really want to move in together. we want our own place and stuff. not that i don't love having roommates because jessie, jenae, and caitlin are awesome, but i just think that i'm already ready to have my own place with eric. and it sounds kinda retarded, but i'm actually really looking forward to graduating and start teaching. i just think it's gonna be cool. but yeah, i'd get an apartment before i would a car...who knows, maybe my parents will help me out with getting a car for a graduation present or something. that would be awesome!
