I HAVE. I started it this morning before school (as your entry was right at the top of my flist when I logged in this morning and I said, OH MY GOD) and then kept trying to catch snippets of it during and between classes. SHH LEARNING, I HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU, I AM READING BIG BANG.

I WILL HOLD YOU FOREVER IF YOU HOLD ME. It makes you feel all the feelings, all of them, all the exhaustion and frustration and I JUST WANT ALL THE NICE THINGS FOR MARK AND EDUARDO, WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE THAT?

Although, I don't know if it's because I tried to read it haphazard and fighting off distractions, but I'm not entirely sure I ... understood what was going on. There was a time loop, they lived it for a long time, Eduardo starts remembering them before Mark does, there's a lot of angst, but I'm still trying to juggle the reasoning -- what makes them reset, what makes them not reset, what's the significance of where they start and end -- and I got lost as to where and when they were during some parts that made it all very confusing, idk. fuzzy_paint blows my ( ... )

In the interests of full disclosure, I haven't re-read the fix since I posted this in early September. It was definitely that emotionally traumatizing and I don't think I'm ready to be destroyed in a similar way for a while. Please forgive whatever has faded from my memory.

I KNOOOOWWWWW, it makes me so sad.

I don't think we're exactly meant to know what makes them reset but I think it's when they deliberately or accidentally ruin their opportunity to develop a positive relationship with each other. When they ruin that. But other times it felt -- ugh, this is heartbreaking, but that time reset when they were happy with each other, or felt strong emotion. I don't know. Like Eduardo said, sometimes it's incredibly arbitrary. Sometimes it just resets again and again and again.

(I did not get lost in this fic, but I did get lost in the Eduardo-as-a-mermaid(?) fic. I didn't feel like there was enough information for me to really understand what was going on ( ... )
