4man: Sexy and Interesting!
In honor of 2007's International Blog Against Racism Week (dramatically more fandom-relevant because of recent wanking) behold the new default icon! Entry title is also its keywords, also a slogan for IBARW. I'm hoping to add to the festivites by working on my foreman_fest fic, which features Foreman being his regular fantastically sexy self. Also, for class, we're reading Rumor of War by Caputo. It features a lot of interesting discussion on race in the Vietnam War, so I'll get back to you guys on that. I know dien pimped skywardprodigal earlier, so I want to just re-post what she said:Skyward's LJ is a blog about numerous things, but most often it is picspam of some absolutely fucking gorgeous people. People too pretty to be real, in many cases, people whose job it is to be Beautiful. And while I can't claim that all of them push my buttons ... I am at least having my consciousness level raised regarding the prevalence of non-white pretty, and, well, that's a good thing.
But essentially what I'm getting at is that if you want to feast your eyes on beautiful human beings, check out skywardprodigal. And maybe think a little too.
Skyward also posts a lot of thought-provoking articles on race in the media, science, fandom... everywhere. I highly recommend it.
