do you remember TGIF, friday night tv when we were kids? full house, family matters (& steve urkell), later maybe boy meets world? yeah, those were the days.
sad to say, i was a serious full house addict. candace cameron was my idol. i wanted a room like hers, with tall colored pseudo-plant like tubes in a vase in the corner. funny, she married a hockey player who used to play for the fredericton canadians and started being seen around town when i was too old to care. i think i had a crush on uncle jesse. bob saget drove me crazy though, as a kid i was very scornful of his neat-freak tendencies, like cleaning plant leaves with a spray bottle.
my mom once named a whatever's-in-the-fridge casserole "urkell pie" in hopes we'd eat it.
