AIM RP Thread// Haley & Lucas; The people we confide in are the ones there.
[OOC: This is a AIM RP thread that myself and Heather [lucas] have Rped. It's for anybody apart of the community to look at to see what has been rped. Enjoy!]
just haley 23: To most people, the night is still young. To many lives, it's a night to begin the changes of their lives. Haley James-Scott so happend to be one of those people, with a very life of her own that is just beginning. Thoughts running through her mind as she looked over at her sleeping husband, Nathan. The ceiling was bare as she was staring at it. It was no longer in use that she could lie there any longer with her thoughts when she quietly and gently uncovered herself and got out of bed. Putting on her shoes and grabbing her jacket, she left the small one room apartment her and Nathan shared and headed over to her best friend's house, Lucas. With a simple knock on his back door, she took a deep breath and studied the door infront of her, waiting for a sign that Lucas was still up.
OlderScottBro: His lights were still on, and he answered the door with a pleasntly suprised smile. saying "hey hales, what's up?"
just haley 23: Haley took a deep breath and calmed herself at the sight of her friend. "I couldn't sleep. My mind is racing, Luke." She replied softly and quietly, staring into his eyes. In many situations, she could always count on Lucas for anything. This time, she needed him more than ever now.
OlderScottBro: Lucas invited Haley in and had her sit on his bed. He offered her something to drink. He was sitting on his dresser across the room waiting to hear the reasons of Haleys unusual late night visit.
just haley 23: She had walked in on Lucas' invitation and sat herself down onto his bed slightly. When offered something to drink, she passed and stayed silent for a moment before speaking. "I layed in bed tonight and every now and then, I would look over at Nathan and wonder to myself. The thoughts of explaining to him that there is a child on the way, our child." Haley looked down at her hands which were fiddling about with her wedding ring. "All his dreams and all of his lifetime of hopes, will come crashing down because of this. For myself, I feel as I might be ruining his life." She explained throughly.
OlderScottBro: Lucas came and sat next to Haley and put his arm around her. Held her for a minute. Then did the best he could to comfort her. "Hales he married you for a reason, because He loves you. When he married you he meant forever. Yea I know he used to be a jerk, but he's not the same guy anymore. I know that if you two talk about this you can get through it. It will be hard at first, but I really beleive that you two can make it through this. I mean look at all you have been through so far, and you are still going strong, maybe stronger than ever. I think that you should give him the benefit of the doubt Hales. Its his baby too, he deserves to know."
just haley 23: Haley pondered at his words for a few moments in silence then slightly turned her head to face Lucas in the eyes. "Of course he deserves to know, and everything I think about telling him, I retreat and get so frightened. I think this may be the most frightened I've ever been." Her head turned down as she leaned into Lucas' arm a little ways, trying to relax. This was going to be hard. She knew that, she also knew that telling Nathan right away might cause a huge rucus, but waiting could result in matters much worst. Either way, it wasn't going to go so well. She sighed running the thought through her mind once more.
OlderScottBro: He gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead. And said to her, "Hales the longer you wait... the more potential of bad is happening. he's going to think you are trying to hide it from him. He's a better man than Dan. He's going to be scared and confused, but you will be in this together. And I will do anything to help you."
just haley 23: She gave him a slight smile of gratitude as small tears glistened in her eyes. "I'm so scared, Luke. So scared.." She managed to whisper, showing the fear in her eyes.
OlderScottBro: "I know you are, but you're a strong woman you can make it through this, and when things get hard you have people in your life that you can lean on. Everything will work out. I promise"
just haley 23: Haley nodded slightly. "Thank you, Luke" She softly gave him a kiss on the cheek and continued to lay her head on his shoulder, taking in his comfort. At least he was there for her, that's all she really needed. That and Nathan's okay with the situation. Maybe Lucas was right, maybe it would be challenging for Nathan and her, but they'd get through it. Nathan and Haley are like two sparrows in a hurricane, trying to find their way. They would be okay. Okay.
OlderScottBro: He gave her a hug and just held her for a few minutes letting her gather herself together, and offered to take her home to her husband. "You know Haley it would be hard, but you could always talk to my mom about this. She was in the same situation 17/18 years ago. Although you're better off cause your man is sticking around. C'mon though I'll take ya home."
just haley 23: Haley smiled as she lifted her head off his shoulder and pushed some of her hair out of her eyes. "All right." She slowly stood up and thought about what Lucas said. Karen. Hmm, she could use some advice on what to do and how to take on this responsibilty but something was holding her back. Fear.
