She threw out her arms and spread out the white paper tablecloth over the long folding table she and Brooke had dug out of the garage earlier that day. Tim took the short walk over to Peyton's House. He felt a little odd about joining Nathan's other circle of friends but he and Nate had been best friends since grade school. Way before Haley and Lucas were even in the picture.

He looked over at the group sitting around the table. He took a deep breath and moved forward.

"Hey Party People! It's the Tim man!" He said with a large smile. "Nate invited me." He informed them. Just in case there were any questions stirring up about why he was there. He made his way to where Haley and Brooke were sitting.

"Hey there beautiful, and Haley." He lowered an eye brow as he ignored Brooke rolling her eyes. "So where is hubby Hilary?" He said looking at Haley.

"Haley, Jake, Why don't you guys join him?"

Shaking her head, Haley declined. "I'm fine watching thanks, Jake why don't you join him though." She told them before turning her attention to Tim, scowling slightly,
"He should be here any minute, Dim."

Peyton smiled good naturedly at Haley. "Yeah, it's probably best. You'd just embarass both of them anyway." She dropped the other girl a wink before Chris began to play and she directed everyone's attention to the piles of food on the table. She knew everyone was hungry, and wasn't sure how much longer Nathan was going to be.

"Play nicely, you two!" She called over to Haley and Tim from her spot by the table. "Tim, Haley'll kick your ass."
She smirked and went to pour herself a glass of Karen's lemonade iced tea.

"Haley?" Tim repeated idiotically. "Haley kick my butt?" He looked at Peyton with a blank expression on his face. "I don't think so."

A smile shone on her face at Peyton's comment as she turned to face Tim, "You want to try me Tim? I may look innocent but I could definitely beat the crap out of you. Plus I can get Nathan to kick your ass for me." Satisfied that he would leave her alone now, Haley moved to join Peyton and grab a cup of iced tea for herself.

"Haley's right Tim, I could definitly kick your ass anytime. She just has to say the word. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time I'd kick your ass anyway, right?"

Nathan finally arrived at Peyton's, carrying bags he dropped on the kitchen table. "Sorry I'm late. And I guess... Sorry I invited Tim." He laughed.

He then quickly moved towards Haley and drooped a light kiss on her lips.

"Sorry for inviting Tim?" Tim repeated with a faux hurting look on his face. "I see how it is man. You get a wife and you change." He was keeping an eye on the macaroni bowl in front of Brooke.

"Hey beautiful girl, what say you pass me that mac & cheese?" He smiled. She did and he filled his plate with some.

"Mmm. Mac and Cheese. This is some good stuff Hilary...I mean, Haley." He said stuffing himself.

"Very funny, Tim. By the way, it's not changing, it's called growing up. You should try it some time."
He was tempted to wink but was afraid Tim would get it the wrong way so instead he just padded his shoulder and grinned.
"You're in shape for the new season coming up?"
