i fought the law
as much as I don't want to talk about it too much, I guess I should record this into the interwebs for further consideration. We'll just paraphrase with this fascinating plot synopsis provided by public safety:
"On Wednesday, June 27th 2007, at 2:20 AM, Public Safety received notification that a robbery at gunpoint had occurred at 1:20 AM to several MCAD students and persons affiliated with MCAD. The robbery occurred off-campus in the parking lot of a Community Center at 26th and Harriet. The victims were approached by two black males in their late teens or early 20’s, and told to give up their wallets and cell phones or one of the group would be shot. They complied, and then were told to walk away slowly and not look back. A short distance away they found someone in the neighborhood with a cell phone; they called the Minneapolis Police and filed a robbery report. The suspects were caught shortly after, and then positively ID’d by the victims. "
Starring me as one of the "several MCAD students"! Oh what fun. Surprisingly, canceling you debit card is the easiest thing you'll ever do in your life. I'm thankful none of my friends were hurt, and that is all that matters. I hope we get a red flyer posted around. If so, pictures will be taken.
