Automation
There are times when that quiet illusion of solitude in crowded places is something that I relish. Especially in the morning before my first cup of coffee. This makes the Qantas domestic system - where I can check in, print luggage tags and drop off my bag without interacting with any human beings - a rather nice way to start the day.
