Weekends are meant for retail therapy. I was told that it is normal for one, a girl especially, to do some retail therapy when stressed, work-related or not.
Then there's the very fantastic Raffles City near my office which I just roam around for at least half an hour going into stores like the very renowned Robinsons departmental store just going to have a look at the cosmetic counters and a whiff here and there at the array of Chanel fragrances. Then there's none other than Coach which is established for their wonderful leather goods. A store which I've been dying to go to because they dont have a branch in Melbourne. Apparently the only Coach store in Australia is in Sydney, if I'm not wrong.
Maybe it's just how I operate. Occurrences of retail therapy increase proportionately to the stress levels. And clearly, I have been and am stressed.
