Well, long time no update, but I don't have much time to do so now. Things are going well, I was very pleased to see so many of you over the holidays and such. I'll post a longer update about all that later, but the exciting news right now is my frame.
http://www.jonnycycles.com/progress/Sam.html He's hoping to have it done by the end of the week, at which point he'll pass it off to the painter and then HOPEFULLY get it back in time for a big bike swap in Madison. I'm totally going to the bikeswap whether it's there or not, but if it IS done by that point, I can pick it up at the end of the day, as Jon wants to display it as an example of his work at the booth he's gonna have there. It's wierd ya know? I'm sure I've posted this before, but I have to say it again. It's like I didn't really believe it was going to happen. I didn't plan this at all. I said, I want a nice frame. I can't find what I want. I guess I'll just have to get a custom. So I looked. I found Jon. I emailed Jon with what I wanted. He said "Sure, no problem". I said, "Ok, let's do it". I didn't really think, wow, I'm paying a lot of money to get a bike, I didn't think, I'm getting a custom bike, I was just like, yeah, that sounds great, let's do it. I'm not sure if this totally explains what I mean, but I think you can get the idea. Now I'm getting REALLY excited.
