Sorry I haven't been posting

So we don't have internet at home yet, so it's hard for me to get on here. Our new place is amazingly awesome, we both love it. Still not totally unpacked, still having trouble finding stuff, but it's great.

I got hit by a car this morning, that was kind of exciting and scary. I'm ok, my bike is mostly ok, I just need to replace my front wheel. Kinda weird though. I didn't even see it coming. The guy was making a left turn, he couldn't see me 'cuz there was traffic in the way and I couldn't see him for the same reason. He had just been waved through by someone on my side of the street. I landed on his hood and apparently did some sort of backflip according to the dudes chillin' on the corner, although I didn't notice that. My body is a bit sore, but I don't really hurt at all except a small nick on my left shin. I took off his license plate and holder. I got his info, he was really cool about it, but I don't think I'll really pursue it too much. It was everyone's fault for not looking more closely, but that's about it. I'm glad my bike isn't worse, as I no longer work for Working Bikes, and my income has dropped considerably. Oh yeah, I hadn't posted about that either had I? There was a bunch of bullshit politics that was only going to tear the co-op to pieces if I stayed, so I resigned. There's still a bunch of bullshit politics goin' on, but I'm largely out of it.

I have free time again, even if it is at considerable expense. It's kinda nice.

Sarah and I are going early tomorrow morning to the airport to fly off to Philly to visit with her family, that's scary and exciting and cool. We're spending 4 days out there. After we get back I'm gonna look for another job to take up my income slack. We'll see what happens.

Note to self. Don't get a job at a record shop OR a bookstore. It's bad enough getting cheap bike stuff, I don't need MORE temptation to spend money.

well kids, I'm at work, so I'm gonna get back to work. Talk to ya'll soon.
