So Sarah and Al had their show last night, and it was great. Al is a great songwriter, and terribly silly, and a mean banjo player to boot. Sarah never ceases to amaze me with her violin playing. It makes me all sorts of warm and gushy inside to hear her play. Al busted out a number of old favorites by himself, then Sarah joined him for a few songs, then Johnny joined in for "barbeque sauce" and another song about burning hobos that they had just written yesterday. You guys seriously need to come to one of these shows sometime. Al's lyrics are awesome, and he puts all this feeling behind them when he sings, especially the song about barbeque sauce.
