I'm learning to braze tomorrow morning.
My tallbike will be the pimpest, it'll have custom cable routing that should enable the 3 shifters and two brakes to function without impairment, which would be a change, because they always get stuck in the housing after a very short time because there's so much of both and some of the bends required make cable friction VERY high. I'm also building new wheels for it. It's a gonna be DOPE!
In other news, my frame is going to be delivered Sunday.
For those interested in tallbikes, I came up with a possible solution to the old problem of headset servicing. It will cost a LITTLE money, but I hope to be able to build forks from scratch that will utilize two threadless headsets and some various bits of threadless stems. My fork is bent backwards, so I may be attempting this technique rather soon. I don't have time to post the details now, but I may do so later.
