Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
I watched the Scott Pilgrim movie last night and was dissapointed. For me it suffered from the same problem Watchmen did - they got all the visual stuff perfect, but fell down on the story telling and both ultimately missed the point of those original stories. I think this might be why I like the Walking Dead TV show despite the story changes from the comic - because even with those changes, the TPTB completely get the point and it shines through in their story telling.
Also Michael Cera is the most boring person the planet & when playing an unlikable character like Scott, you need to bring something to the table so the audience still gets invested. Which Cera didn't and maybe can't.
