When my laptop repeatedly crashed and had to be sent off for repairs. Repairs that cost £60, which is no joke when you live on £30 a week mon hombre.
Either way, I've missed a lot of days on the 30 day song challenge because of this and so will have to try and catch up now. This will be no mean feat as I'm on Ma's laptop and it doesn't like me very much...

I'm gonna go for a song that reminds me of my mum. There's a lot of them, but perhaps this is one of the best ones :)
Yep, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen, a song that she had on vinyl which we used to rock out to when I was a kid.
day 06 - a song that reminds you of somewhere
ARGH this is difficult! There are loads of them too... I think I'll go for 'Ray of Light' by Madonna, whic reminds me of the holiday to Florida that I took with my Grandparents when I was 7. I saw the video to th song on the plane over and it seemed to sum up the experience of being in America quite perfectly.
day 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event
My 18th birthday. It ws so good and for the party I made a playlist which I ensured began with this song, because in 'Marie Antoinette' this is the song that is played for her 18th. :D 'Ceremony' by New Order

First thought is 'Back at Your Door' by Maroon 5, a song that I love to sing, so much, it was between this and songs by Corinne Bailey Rae... eh.
day 09 - a song that you can dance to
God I don't know! I'm gonna really hav to think about that one. Although the usual answer would probably be the Macarena or Saturday Night or Casper Slide or something. Actually yeah, I'm gonna use 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield, because it's so damn satisfying to do all of the dance moves!
Oh man, that seriously takes me back to my childhood *________* Two words; School. Disco.
day 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep
Well, I have a playlist that does that but it was mainly a battle between various songs from the Final Fantasy X/X2 soundracks, 'Nocturne by Grieg and this song; 'I Only Have Eyes For You' by the Flamingoes. Absolutely stunning song.

Which I always maintain Friendly Fires, no matter what they do I just love them and maybe one day I'll get to see them live...
'Stay Here a song that got me through many a late night Library trip and will probably continue to do so. Unfortunately the only correct version has a video of dancing robots. Go figure...
