This weekend just flew by. Time off always does! Friday most ppl arrived in town for the reunion and were just around town visiting with various relatives. Heidi was down for the weekend, so we were able to spend the day together on Saturday. We went to lunch, and then thrift shopping - yay! We are the only ones who can keep up with each other! It's too bad Value Village isn't open yet...we would have been in there for the rest of the evening I'm sure! Anyway...it's been 2 years since we were last together, and it is so nice to have the kind of friendship where no matter how long you've been apart, it seems like no time at all, and you easily pick up right where you left off. She lives in Kitsilano now, and works for Great West Life.
The main part of the reunion was on Sunday, there were about 20 of us there. Some couldn't make it due to work or distance, so that was too bad. It was still good to see those who *were* there though...especially
two of my cousins and their families who I haven't seen in 20 years! Hopefully next time we will all be able to make it.
It is so nice to have the fence done. We're able to let the dog out without worrying. All it takes is one little look to make sure the gate is closed, and that's it! How nice is that!
Last night we went to see Monster-in-Law...frigging hilarious! I highly recommend it to those who need a good laugh! Tomorrow night we go with Chip to see the new Star Wars. I laugh at all these reviews and ppl who say "it's really dark". No Shit Sherlock, it's meant to be...Anakin is becoming part of the dark side!!
