Wow...I am still in shock about Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney marrying! (Hear that Cara? Our man is off the market!!) In a good way though...I love them both and wish them much happiness!
I pray, pray, pray that Uchenna and Joyce win The Amazing Race tonight!!
Not too much is going on here...what did everyone do for their mothers for Mother's Day? We went out to Friesen's for brunch with my parents, their good friends Tom and Heidi, and their daughter, Susan. It was fun and the food was great. I got my mom a card and a gift bag full of different flower and veggie seeds, since she loves to garden.
Also on Sunday we went to see The Interpreter. It was pretty good, quite suspenseful. I still want to see A Lot Like Love and House of Wax.
On Friday the fence dudes come to cement in the posts. Then on Monday they stretch the fence. I cannot wait until it is all done!
Darren and I are both working on my birthday:( He has no choice as they have a big function for 400 ppl, and when you're the boss you have to be there to see that everything runs smoothly. I could have gotten the day off, but since Sat. is my day to work anyway, and I would have just been sitting at home alone, I decided to work too. Hence, we will be celebrating on Friday night.
I am so excited that Heidi is coming down from Van on the long weekend! I haven't seen her in almost 2 years. That is the same weekend as our family reunion, but I'm sure as heck going to fit her in somewhere!
