and i am some sort of icon-making fiend. even hippos love eurovision! the happy hippo is from shirt.woot, which 
catie56 introduced me to. i bought one of their shirts but they do not really cater to the fat ladies, alas. however, mr tree has purchased several because they do cater to the gangly gentlemen.
anyway, i needed a eurovision icon and i could not find a suitable background and then i remembered i had saved this image and it turns out that they are two tastes that go great together. although now that i'm examining it, i think maybe the logo should be moved slightly to the right shit, i mean left. i really thought i'd have this left/right business worked out by the time i was in my thirties. ahh, youth. so optimistic!
holy crap, it's almost midnight! when did that happen?
as i said on twitter, i am rabidly happy. it sort of feels like a sugar high, but i have not consumed enough sugar for it to actually be that. whoo boy, i am tired. i'm not going to make it until the yuletide archive opens.
also i did that friending meme which i will most likely regret tomorrow! now you can go and look at it and accuse me of false advertising.
don't worry, pretty soon i will go back to only posting once every three weeks or so. in the meantime, here is a funny comic-type thing by
