Thanks to the free internet here in our hotel, I can still check lj for Arashi updates :P

So day 1 just ended. It started pretty early, with me getting up at dawn to finish packing. Then we overestimated the traffic and left Katipunan at 830ish. We reached NAIA at 930, and found out that TG counters open at 1130am. (Which means we were 2hours early for check-in. lol) So there, waited for an hour and a half consuming most of my iTouch's battery life to Wifi. When I had no other site to go to, I decided to go back to reading the Gantz Manga online (This is basically because of the news that Nino already finished filming Gantz :P Too bad no preview yet of the suit hmph.). We boarded the plane at around 230pm, which means we spent about 5hrs just waiting. XD

So what amazes me is how Japanese-friendly Thai Airways is. Maybe because they had this promo going to Osaka or something, (and their monthly magazine featured Cherry blossoms in Osaka) but in the selection of things you can listen to while on board, there was this "channel" that played jpop. Well I assumed it was jpop because most of it sounded like the anime theme songs that I've heard of and the words were definitely Japanese. (haha, blame it on the ear that mostly listens to Arashi songs :p) So I tried listening to it, hoping they'd play Arashi. Sometimes I'd switch the audio to New Moon, which was played on the screen on board but once in a while I'd switch it back to jpop channel. And lo and behold, when I once switched it back, Arashi's "Move Your Body" was playing!!!! So I quickly told my sisters to listen to that channel (since they are Arashi fans too) and we just listened till the song ended. ^^ And that was the highlight of my flight to BKK. :P

Tonight we met our mom (who came to BKK earlier for a seminar) and we ate authentic Thai dishes like Tom Yum soup, Papaya Salad and Pandan Chicken. Spicy and yummy ^^

Tomorrow, sightseeing starts!!! (And maybe some shopping too! :D)

flight, fun, arashi, bkk, family
