(no subject)
I've been intentionally neglecting the piano, viola, and other musical things in favour of revising for my A level...but then, I've been neglecting that too! Sat down to go through my anthology pieces this afternoon, only to find the CD is in the car, which my sister and partner are using for the day.
I've only just realised that one of these pieces (Shostakovich P&F in A) is also on the G8 2007 list A, so spent a few piano sessions playing through it...not enough time now though to make a decent job of learning it before the exam (which is Monday!). I also played through the Mozart piano concerto 26 (pleasantly surprised that I didn't make *too* bad a sight-reading job of it, though I am familar with the piece). I've also been playing Mozart K545 and Bach Invention in F quite a bit, and other odd bits just to keep my fingers going.
Last Sunday we had a film night and watched Immortal Beloved, which was quite sucessful.
