It was obvious, Much thought.
Lots of people make words up, don’t they? Sometimes Robin would say something, and Much would be sure he’d made up a big long word to make himself sound clever… Or maybe clever people just have more words. Because clever people are more complicated.
Much was not a clever person, and he knew it. In fact, most of the time people said he was stupid - which he thought was rather unkind of them.
But anyway, Allan had been gone for such a long time now that Much was rather hoping he would jigger back soon.
