Sam's Arthur...

I've seen a number of reviews of Morte d'Arthur - most good, a couple painful - but every one praises Sam's performance. Not a surprise to any of us here on TMR of course!  Doesn't this sum it up:

"No one puts a foot wrong, with Sam Troughton's Arthur unstoppable in his eagerness to find greatness - there are elements of Sam's wonderful self-seeking Romeo here - without realising that he is being cheated and manipulated. It's a first class performance that reaffirms yet again that British theatre has a real star on their hands."
