It wasn't like Much to be so quiet. He desperately wanted to talk to Robin though one look at his friend said more than words ever would. Robin's eyes were aflame.
Revenge.
It was eating Robin alive, like a disease wasting away his body...his soul. His heart was buried in the godforsaken desert sands where Marian lay.
Much cringed when harsh looks were flung his way. Alone in his bunk on the ship, he cried quietly wondering when the looks would become sharp, cruel words. Could Robin ever say anything worse than 'you're like a pox on my skin'?
