"And you didn't see what did it?" Djaq asked again.
Much winced as she cleaned the wound. "No! I told you - I just woke up and it was there!"
"Well it's not too deep. We'll keep an eye on it, but it should be fine," she reassured him.
Four days later Much doubted that anything would ever be fine again...
