I drew this picture of Allan for omteddy2006, and she asked that I post it here. I checked the user info here and there didn't seem to be any specific rules governing the posting of art, so if I haven't tagged right or if I've made some other mistake, please let me know.

Very, very nice. I actually think the hair might be too neat for Allan. Perhaps he combed it for his portrait sitting? (He certainly never did so for the show...unless he was wearing the black leather.) He's very pretty here (which is NOT a bad thing at all).

Having seen Will and now Allan, I would say that you capture facial expressions (and personalities) quite well, with the eyes and mouth. This is going in "the vault."

Yes, he must have combed it for the occasion, lol. I'm afraid he doesn't resemble Allan quite as much as I would have liked. He may look a bit younger (less seasoned?) than show!Allan. But I like him and I'm very glad you do too.

Nice! I like the hair and the fact that you softened the angles of his face a lot. He seems younger and much less jaded than Allan on the show. Maybe this is in his early days of thieving? ;)

Thanks! Making him look younger than on the show wasn't actually intentional, lol. No matter how hard I tried to give him the right lines and shadows, he just continued to look kind of youthful. I guess "experience" is the sort of thing that's hard to capture. :)

Groveling is not required, lol! The thing is, I can't draw LJ. :(

Believe me, I've tried. Remember a few months ago, when you were having a bad day and I drew you a picture of GK's face? Well, I'd spent the better part of that day (and many days since, lol) trying to draw LJ. (I know what you're thinking. They're the same person, right? But no. They look completely different.) But it's completely beyond me. I'm sorry.

I don't know if it's the beard that throws me or what. But you have no idea how many half started drawings of him I have laying about. I'll keep trying though and if I ever manage it, you'll be the first to know. :)
