Fics - "Always in the Shade" & "Legacy"
There seems to be an idea going around that Allan would have made a good father and that possibly all he needed was the love of a good woman to set him straight. I LOVE Allan, but I have my doubts on these issues. And yet, I find myself falling into the same trap. Maybe...
The first fic, "Always in the Shade," was my reaction to just hearing the news that Allan was going to die. I was not a happy camper. The second one, "Legacy" was written a week ago, right before my beta went on vacation. With all of the "Allan as family man" fics surfacing, I thought I had better post this last one ASAP, especially since someone at rh_drabblefest just wrote one that is frighteningly similar.
