been catching up on fics since the last time i read anything on this community was when the second flick was announced. now i have a question that might be relevant if i get around to writing a fic. any imput would help.
i've read a whole lot of fics now where Riley's former job, that "windowless cubicle" was located in the Library of Congress. i don't have the first flick with me right now, but i intend to watch it as soon as possible and i'm not sure if it was actually mentioned in the second movie or not.
so is Riley's supposed job at the Library of Congress a fanon creation that everyone has just copied for its ease, or is it a matter of movie-based canon?
also, i don't know if anyone has the scripts and/or novelizations. if you do, could you share what's different in the texts than the movies? the only things i've found online so far are a transcript of the dialogue in the film and a "script" that seems to have been typed out by hand at justinbartha.com or whatever. those give no different insights.
