Shout a bit louder, why don't you?

[ Slight shove? Slight shove. ]

[Shove back for he is sopping wet in his third outfit for the evening and just just just...shove!]

If you were more agile we wouldn't be in this mess.

Me?

[ You know what, Caspian tenth of that name, etc, etc, etc?

One good shove deserves another. Or something. So have one. ]

I'm not the one who fell the first time, am I? No. This is what - your third change of clothing?

Yes. [You know what's coming.] You.

And it's my third change of clothing because you can't clear the hole! You're not that big. I know it.

[ Some sputtering goes here, and considering they're dripping all over the floor still one wonders that they bothered to keep trying to get here at all. The towels help, a bit. ]

Neither are you!

[ Older or not, that's still true. Honestly. ]

[Er...ish...not so much anymore shriek.]

[ NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE. That's RIGHT. Someone get the measuring tape. ]

Hardly an excuse anymore.

[ He's standing a bit straighter to prove his point, too, see.

And tossing another dry towel at Caspian too, perhaps. ]

[Shut. UP.] It's no ex--

[Thfsfjslpbb. Caspian catches the towel in the face. Snort. He uses it to dry his hair nonetheless.]

[ There's a brief sound of disgust comes as he towels off a bit more as well. He's not entirely certain that water wasn't straight out of a swamp or something. Salamander could probably tell them, supposing he could, you know, talk...

Anyway, the hour is late - late enough to say that they Blue Light is closing soon for the night, which goes to show their poor performance for the allotted tasks today. But it was a ridiculous game.

Someone perhaps Lucy's size could have managed.

Looking over, there's slight amusement because at least it wasn't just him. ]

You were saying?

Oh shut up.

[THWOOMP! He throws the towel at Peter's face.]

[ Foiled however, because Peter catches said towel with ease. ]

You started it.

[Get. Out. Speaking of out.]

If we can't get in...how do people get out?

Reply

oshutup August 12 2011, 05:28:26 UTC
[ NO. YOU. ]

There might not be any grand task [ SARCASM ] to get out. It may just be the getting in. Fortunately we're allowed the towels. Apparently there's no rule against people assisting. So far.

[ He pauses, sighs under his breath. ]

What a waste of time.

But where are they coming from?

[If they can get out with ease seeing as how they have to go through a gauntlet to use the same doors. LE SIGH.]

[ Peter casts a mild look in Caspian's direction, arms folded -- which doesn't last long because ugh wet clothes still weird and clingy and gross. Fair question though. A moment later he's only come up with one thing that sounds remotely likely to him - the most basic. ]

Well if they're just...not affected by the curse, then I imagine they can simply walk...in.

Which explains the patrons leaving, at least.
