(no subject)
Man…I know I haven’t updated in a while…just really haven’t took the time to sit down and type it…but I guess I’ll do that now if I can remember everything that’s happened here lately.
May 25-29 Chris and I went to Fairmont to visit with his family, which is his mom, step dad (JB), and his two brothers Seth and Justin. We left Thursday evening after he got off work, and got out there around 10:20 - 10:30 that night. His brothers weren’t in yet because they were all at work, they work like 4 hours away or something like that and they just stay out there instead of coming home, which makes sense. So we just hung out with Shirley for a while, then Chris decides to call his friend Al, and he comes over and we all watch a movie…well half way through I was about to conk out, so I went on to bed…Chris came up around 1:30 or so. It had just been a long day.
Friday Chris showed me around Fairmont, where he went to school, where he lived when he first moved down there, where some of his friends lived, where he used to work, and such…that evening when all the guys had come home, we went out to eat at the Outback, well everyone except Seth because he had to make a stop and take a nap first. After dinner, we stopped at the mall and looked around for a min. JB didn’t really like to stay around and look. We went back to the house and decided we wanted to go see a movie. Chris and I had been wanting to see the Da Vinci Code, so us, Seth and his g/f Paige, and Chris’s friend Neil and his g/f all went and seen it.
Saturday everyone went to the Pittsburg zoo, well everyone except JB. I think everyone had an awesome time…well I know I did…because I had never been to zoo before. I thought it was a great experience. Chris took like hundreds of pictures…shew I’m not kidding :o) but I’m glad we got a lot…there was monkeys, elephants, giraffes, tigers, cheetahs, bears, lions, and much, much more. I was sooo glad we got to go. Shirley took us out to eat afterwards at Red Lobster…we just me, Chris, Justin and his g/f Jamie. Seth, Paige and one of their friends went to a concert. I had yet another huge meal and it was great…I love their biscuits. When we got back, we went to the carnival thing they had there which we could walk to from their house, and met up with a few more ppl. Afterwards, we went to Al and his g/f Olivia’s place and hung out for the rest of the night. Al is going to be the best man in our wedding. He is one of Chris’s really close friends and I just love him to death. He is such a nice guy and Olivia is sweet as well.
Sunday was Seth’s birthday, so they through a get together there at the house and there had to of been like 20 ppl there. And out of the 20 ppl, 3 of them didn’t smoke, me, JB and Justin…I have never been around so much smoke in my life! Chris tried to introduce me to everyone, but I was having trouble remembering everyone’s name. I mostly just sat back, listening to everyone and watching them get drunk. Then around 12 something, Chris asked me if I was ready to go to bed…and of course I was…I was exhausted, so he told everyone bye and we went to bed. I had a little trouble going to sleep because everyone was on the porch and it was right under our window, but I managed. It sure didn’t take long for Chris to fall asleep, he was out when his head hit the pillow.
Monday we got our stuff together and I tried to straighten up our destroyed room…it was mostly Chris’s clothes :o) got up and ate breakfast and hung out with everyone before we left. Poor Shirley was crying whenever we left. I felt so sorry for her. I’m sure she misses Chris a lot. On our way we stopped out at Justin’s place, because he wanted Chris to see it before he left. It was a nice place, but he is hardly ever there. Around 8 something that evening we got home and I was exhausted and I know Chris was from all the driving. I was so glad to be home. Fairmont was a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there. It’s not for me. That weekend was sure to say an eventful one, but I like is family, they are just different than most :o)
June 10 Chris and I went to Brad and Mel’s wedding. It was at her mom’s and everything was so pretty. Brad’s mom Reva did all the flower’s and they look beautiful…I want her to do our wedding. Brad and Mel just looked so happy, I can’t wait until mine and Chris’s. Later that night, everyone just sat around, talked, drank..and so forth. Dean is so funny, he was a little tipsy, but that made it all the better.
Um that’s really about it I believe. I don’t believe anything else worth mentioning happened. Or I just can’t remember it.
Oh, today Johnna and BJ are getting married and we are going to that…so I can take some more notes :o)
Well I guess that’s about it…until next time…whenever that will be…
