(no subject)
I haven’t really updated in a while, I honestly haven’t had that much time to get on the computer and fool around, but I guess that’s life, right?
May 7 - I had a cookout with mom, Trina, Holly, Erin, Traci and Chris. Dad couldn’t come because he had worked that night and stayed up most of the day. We messed around down there, ate hotdogs, roasted marshmallows, and talked. Then Chris and I headed over to Lebanon to Shenna’s because she had called earlier and wanted us to come over. I had a lot of fun….margaritas, cards, blowup dolls…fun stuff :o) then around 3 or 4 that morning everyone just kinda passed out well Chris and I did…I couldn’t stay awake.
May 9 - was mine and Chris’s 9 month anni….wow…how times seems to fly. I’m just extremely glad that I found the right person for me. I guess I just got lucky.
May 10 - this was mom’s birthday and I wanted to do something special for her. So Chris and I cooked her a big meal and I secretly invited granny and papaw over. That seemed to make mom happy. We had a great time, especially mom…I do believe she enjoyed herself. I bought her a cordless phone, because our other one has about had it from being dropped so many times…(Traci)
May 13 - Chris and I went shopping for a few things…well Chris mostly went shopping I just kinda looked around and got a thing or two. After that, we went out to KFC…MAN!…that was some good stuff! I stuffed myself silly. I hadn’t ate there in forever. We then came home and watched a movie that Chris bought “King Kong.” it was a good movie, I just bawled my eyes out for 15 mins or so straight because I knew what was gonna happen. Then, once the movie was over and we laid down I stayed crying all over again. Shew…I guess I was in a crying mood or something.
May 14 - this was mother’s day, so I got up and fixed a thing or to and got ready for a long day. The first stop was to Chris’s great-grandmother’s. we hung out there for 2 hours or so, talked to Nikki and Matt, played with Emma, and then we were on our way. The second stop was to Granny B’s. we hadn’t ate yet , so Chris and I warmed us up a plate, talked to everyone, and so forth. We couldn’t stay too long because we had another stop to make. We went to Granny E’s, were Devin was our chef for the day. He grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for all of us. We were gonna eat outside but it was COLD, so we were stuck in the house, but I had a good time anyway.
May 17 - we had Ma Cill over to the house for dinner to meet mom and dad, because her sister came in to watch their mom for her to give her a break for a week. I wanted them to get acquainted before the wedding :o) I need to get mom and dad to meet Shirley and JB, but who knows when I’m gonna get to arrange that. Mom fixed roast, beans, corn, coleslaw, and banana pudding. Of course, I ate WAY to much. I’m so glad she got to come over. We mostly just sat around, showed her the house, and talked for an hour or two. I just love her to death!
Well that’s about it I guess… not a whole lot to tell…but who knows when my next real update will be?
