Camp Bob Cooper

I guess I should write a little bit about my spring break. It was interesting to say the least. Lots and lots of rowing. The weather was nice in South Carolina too. Some of the high points:

1) The Octagon
The Octagon is well...an octagon drawn on the ground with flour and it's basically sumo wrestling. Well unless you're Mike Cronin and wrestled in high school. My "friends" decided to literally throw me into the octagon to take on Mike. I'm not a pussy so I didn't back down. From what I can remember, I got face planted (and had some nice cuts and scrapes on my face for the next few days to prove it) and head locked. Somehow I managed to get both of his feet outside of the octagon though and was victorious. It was pretty sweet.

2) Wal-mart
James put on a night gown and a huge ass bra in the middle of the store and I cupped his bosom. Good times.

3) Charleston
What a nice city. Practically no high buildings, tons of bars, and a street lined with the most ridiculous stores (Gucci, Mont Banc, etc). Our coach got drunk and was hilarious at dinner.

4) Suburban Push
That's right. In shifts of four we pushed a Chevy Suburban over a mile to Wayne's (a grocery store, gas station, karaoke joint, and bar and grill all in one) and back.

5) Karaoke
I pulled out some "I want it that way" by BSB and some "Summer nights" from Grease. Everyone was impressed. The varsity coach asked me if I had ever received training. Does one year of chorus in high school count?

6) St Patty's Day Party
Me. Lots of beer. Me puking. Me wanting to hook up. Me hungover the next day until 6:30 PM.

That's just a taste. So much went down in a week. I had a lot of fun but I am so glad to have my bed back and a nice shower and food that doesn't always need to be followed by Pepto Bismol. Only 357 days till Camp Bob 2008! Sick.
