...there's a guy tearing up carpet in the basement because some crazy thing broke in the bathroom upstairs and water gushed everywhere. The entire bathroom downstairs is sopping wet and a lot of it leaked out into the laundry room, basement, furnace room and guest bedroom. It's good and stinky, too. So he's tearing up padding and seeing how far he thinks we'll have to go. And that's just downstairs. Upstairs, it's seeped into the hallway, kitchen and bedroom.

I have had this happen far too many times in my life and I'm so sick and tired of it.

oh, and I have to pee.
